Life Update: November 2022

Writer's picture: MorganMorgan

As much as I want this blog to solely focus on encouragement and I want this space to feel like a break from all the rush of the internet, I thought it might be appropriate and fun to share a little more about me and my daily life. So you can get to know the woman behind the words and the family that inspires it all.

If you want to see more life posts, I do post pretty frequently on Instagram. I share lots of what's going on in my daily life in stories and reels over on that page.

Check it out. Give me a follow @mrsmorganellis. Leave me a comment and tell me what you like to see most. I want to make sure I am creating and providing what you actually want to see and read.

In a nutshell here I am, in the thick of life raising 3 kiddos:

Here are the three hooligans that call me mom:

As the Summer months came to a close, we spent a lot of time running and playing in the rain.

My husband and I celebrated 11 years of marriage in October and were able to sneak away for a little getaway alone out to Sedona, Arizona. It was absolutely magical and such a breath of fresh air to focus on us, our marriage, and just be husband and wife for a few days without the hustle of normal life.

We took a hot air balloon ride through the red rocks of Sedona. It was the most amazing experience and has been on my bucket list for a long time.

Time spent nurturing our marriage is something we always try to prioritize, even in the trenches of parenthood. We want to be strong as husband and wife always.

We celebrated our middle son turning 7.

Halloween 2022. We don't go too crazy around Halloween over here, it just isn't my favorite holiday. None the less, we have some fun traditions that we stick with that make it fun.

Carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds is always a crowd pleaser. My younger two wanted to paint their pumpkins too this year, which was super cute.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing what's happening over here behind the scenes. It is such a joy to share our life and bring encouragement to you.

As we move into the holiday season, I am so looking forward to having my first year taking the week of Thanksgiving off and Christmas break with my kids. Boundaries and balance between work and home have never been easy for me, but after stepping away from full time behind the chair this past January, this will be my first time getting to focus on my kids and family this holiday season. I am ecstatic! Christmas is my favorite time of year, and we have lots of stuff happening over here in the next 2 months.

Praying you have an amazing week friend. Thanks for being here!

Love you mama!
